Korea Garden Grille
Here’s a review of one of Houston’s hidden gems and my personal favorite Korean BBQ restaurant.
Korea Garden Grille, located at 11360 Bellaire Boulevard, offers a game-changing mentality from the A-la-carte Korean BBQs of the past, with a complete buffet style menu that offers the best bang for your buck and an incredible value overall.
When you walk into Korea Garden Grille (KGG), the first thing you notice is the nice modern decor, a mixture of curves, granite, wood, and beautiful soft lighting. The buffet bar envelops more than a third of the restaurant, forming an L shape and offering
unlimited servings of Ban Chan (sides – about 20 of them)
9 different selections of marinated meats (ribeye bulgogi, shrimp, chicken, squid, baby octopus, kalbi (short rib), pork, salmon, etc.)
2 different selections of soups (soon-doo-bu [which tastes WAY better than the current Houston favorite, Seoul Garden IMHO] and seaweed/beef),
and an entire wing of the buffet devoted to Korean seafood pancakes/ pastries / desserts.
I’ve been an avid fan of Korean BBQ all my life, and I can say that no other place offers as complete of an experience as KGG, for a FRACTION of the cost of the other Korean restaurants in Houston. The gist of the restaurant is that you get all the meats and sides you want, and then you cook them at the table. Not convinced? Here’s a couple more shots….

Everytime I listen to this stuff I miss College Station and that wonderful budding music scene. I hope all of you guys out there are still playing music and kicking ass. Happy New Years!
Special thanks to Jon Moeller at moeller.io for teaching me whats up with ableton!
